Social Media is STILL Hot, Folks!

StumbleUponLinkedInShare

My husband, Jim and I just returned home from a four-day trip to Florida where we went to Jim BrooksThe ASI Show, a trade show for promotional products distributors, suppliers, consultants and experts.  We have just added this area to our menu of items that we now offer our clients to help build their business online and now offline!

We were so excited to attend this event because there were many classes we could attend to learn more about the industry and products.  And of course, we “grabbed”  so many samples and catalogs that we are having them shipped back home to use! (Hope the mailman doesn’t hate us!)

As we were deciding which classes that to attend, naturally I wanted to attend all of the social media classes, just to evaluate and see how the advertising specialty industry was using social media and if it was any different to how I train my clients to use social media.  Much to my surprise and tired feet, it was “standing and sitting” room only in every session that I attended on this topic!  Every room was packed with hungry entrepreneurs that wanted to know more about using social media in their business.  All of the information shared was consistent to what I teach my clients, so I didn’t find any big “ah-ha” moments.  But what I did find was that social media is still hot and there are literally millions of people that are not utilizing these free marketing tools for their business.

So I came back from the trip tired, excited, energized and anxious to continue sharing great social media information with my clients and to also now add promotional products and gifts as a service for their marketing strategies.

Oh and you just never know who you are going to meet at one of these things.  Check out this photo.
